Building a Continuing Care Retirement Community within a college campus in Rome, GA had the attraction of being closer to students, continuing education, and sports and recreation, but the remote destination was a challenge to overcome.

The team created an events strategy at nearby resort destination areas to bring new leads to the project. LRSA’s leader, Morgan Lamphere, helped develop a strategy that engaged college students and residents, which differentiated the community from competitors. Despite the challenge of opening in the midst of a pandemic, the team was able to achieve 75% occupancy within the first year.
